Outpatient Drug Rehab Orange County
Outpatient Treatment Programs
Many inquire as to the differences between different rehab programs and are often surprised to learn about the effectiveness of our outpatient drug rehab programs. Outpatient addiction treatment is a rehabilitation program that is designed to address an individual’s addiction, uncover co-occurring issues, and provide psychological and emotional support. This will often include individual and group therapy, as well as family sessions.
The frequency and intensity of the outpatient’s treatment plan depends on a few factors. The severity of the drug use and the length of time spent addicted will help therapists determine the suitability of outpatient treatments and formulate a long-term treatment plan. Before entering one of our programs, clients will have completed a drug detox program. Once completed, the next phase of recovery begins, either inpatient rehab or outpatient treatment.
Choosing Outpatient Rehab
When choosing an outpatient rehab program, the client’s individual needs should be carefully considered. While the realities of addiction are similar from patient to patient, each addict has a unique set of triggers stemming from different life events. Family members often question their loved one’s ability to stay sober outside the confines of a drug rehab center.

This allows the recovering addicts to begin rebuilding their lives while getting the treatment the need to stay sober. IOP usually consists of weekly individual therapy sessions and group sessions a few times a week. Clients spend an average of 2-4 hours daily while participating in our programs.
Partial Hospitalization Programs for Drug Treatment
Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), also know as ‘day rehab’, are programs that provide the intensity of an inpatient drug rehab program while allowing the individual to return home in the evenings. Clients receive all applicable therapies, support, and counseling that are provided for our residential clients. This program requires patients to be on site for a minimum of 6 hours each day, at least 5 days each week. Some patients choose to live in sober living homes rather than return to their own homes while undergoing PHP.
Therapy and Counseling Treatment Programs
These programs can be individual and intensive group programs combined, depending on the individual’s recovery needs. Usually meeting several times a week for a few hours, clients maintain close contact with their support groups and therapist, facilitating transparency and accountability while their immediate recover period is still ongoing. These recovery services are often continued for months and years after initial treatment.
